Covid-19: Don’t start keeping your cats indoors | Village Vets

The BBC published an article on the 8th of April advising people to keep their pets indoors during the Covid-19 pandemic. This caused concern with the International Cat Care association. As a result a number of the world's leading feline veterinary specialists came together to produce a statement.

 

There has been no evidence that the Covid-19 can be transfered from pets to humans. It is recommended that cats should maintain their usual routine. Cats are creatures of habbit and get distressed if their normal routine is changed.
