About Us

Village Vets Coolock joined the Village Vets family in 2016 and is proudly located inside the Maxi Zoo pet shop. Our clinic is equipped with two consulting rooms, separate dog and cat wards, a surgical theatre, diagnostic facilities including an x-ray room, and a dedicated dental suite.

We’re passionate about creating a calm and welcoming environment for our patients — our fear-free approach helps make every visit as stress-free and comfortable as possible.

Your Role

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will:

  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to all patients.

  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the clinic.

  • Foster strong, positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

  • Promote and uphold the standards of the Veterinary Council of Ireland and Village Vets.

  • Assist with anaesthesia, diagnostics, dentistry, surgical nursing, and patient recovery.

  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative workplace culture.

You’ll be guided and supported by our Head Nurse and Lead Vet, ensuring you can thrive and grow within your role.

Requirements

  • Registered with (or eligible for registration with) the Veterinary Council of Ireland

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an RVN

  • A genuine passion for animal care and client service

  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills
