Owned and led by Aislinn Cullen, who grew up locally and has been part of this clinic’s story since she was a child, our team combines modern veterinary medicine with a warm, personal approach to caring for pets and their people.  Every appointment is guided by trust, compassion, and clear, transparent pricing, so you always feel confident about your pet’s care.

A word from Aislinn Cullen, Owner & Vet Surgeon 

Hello, I’m the owner of Village Vets Stillorgan. I joined the practice in 2019 as a vet but have been coming here for a lot longer with my own pets, one of my earliest childhood memories is sitting in what is now our dental room waiting for my rabbit to be seen by the vet. I’m really proud to own and lead that same clinic now with a fantastic team that always practices the highest quality of medicine and puts patients, clients and community first. My particular areas of interest are high-risk anaesthesia and dental procedures, acute and chronic pain management (and palliative care), and skin diseases.

My road into veterinary medicine started during transition year, when I did work experience at Bairbre O’Malley’s Veterinary Practice, now Village Vets Bray. What was meant to be a short placement turned into six years of working alongside the team while I completed my studies. By the time I qualified, I had no doubt that this was what I wanted to do. Stillorgan has always been home. I grew up locally, and one of my earliest childhood memories is visiting this very clinic, my family brought our animals here for years. Long before I imagined I would be leading it, I was already part of its story as a client’s family member. Coming back as a vet, and now as an owner, has felt like the most natural thing in the world. When I joined the team at Village Vets Stillorgan, I found something truly special: a culture built on genuine encouragement, mentorship, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way. Within six months I had grown into a senior role, mentoring new graduates and helping to shape the standards of care we still hold today. Alongside my clinical work, veterinary education has become one of my great passions. We regularly host UCD final-year students here during their clinical rotations, and I created VetVision, Village Vets’ new graduate support programme, because I wanted newly qualified vets to have the kind of guidance and community that makes the early years of the career something to look forward to, not just survive. I’m also one of the few GP vets who’s an advanced practitioner in anaesthesia and analgesia, taking referrals for high-risk anaesthesia, especially for dental procedures, and I’m currently studying towards a dermatology certificate. Growing up, our house was known on the street for the menagerie of animals I’d rescued, everything from an African Pygmy Hedgehog to budgies at some point or other. I tamed and bottle-fed stray kittens from a young age, and as a teenager I took the Luas and train from Sandyford to Ashton Dog Pound most Saturday mornings to walk the dogs. Becoming a partner here was the most natural step I have ever taken. This is the clinic, and the community, that I call home. I am committed to growing this practice, investing in my team, and making sure that every pet and every owner who walks through our door feels genuinely cared for.

Our Stillorgan branch joined the Village Vets family in 2013, having previously served the community under a different name with its distinctive circular shape. The clinic is now owned and led by Aislinn Cullen, whose love for veterinary medicine and commitment to supporting her team help shape the caring, welcoming environment clients know and trust.

Our state-of-the-art clinic has three consult rooms, a surgical theatre, a dedicated dental room and separate cat and dog wards. We even play relaxing classical music to our patients to help keep them calm and happy while they’re with us! Our facilities and services include:
