Village Vets Stillorgan isn’t just another veterinary clinic. It’s a practice proudly led by partner Aislinn Cullen, whose journey in veterinary medicine has been shaped by dedication, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting both pets and the people who care for them.

Aislinn’s first introduction to veterinary practice began during her transition year work experience at Bairbre O’Malley’s Veterinary Practice (now Village Vets Bray). What started as a short placement quickly turned into six years working in the clinic while she completed her studies, confirming her love for veterinary medicine.

After graduating, Aislinn faced a difficult start in practice that left her questioning whether veterinary medicine was the right path. At the same time, she experienced a challenging period in her personal life when her mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Taking time away from the profession allowed her space to reflect and ultimately reminded her how much she cared about veterinary work and the difference a supportive team can make.

When Aislinn later interviewed for a role at Village Vets Stillorgan, she expected it to simply be interview practice. Instead, she found the encouragement, patience, and mentorship that helped rebuild her confidence. Within six months she had grown into a confident senior vet, mentoring new graduates and helping to shape the clinic’s high standards of care.

Today, Aislinn is passionate about both patient care and veterinary education. Village Vets Stillorgan regularly hosts UCD final-year veterinary students during their clinical rotations, giving them valuable real-world experience in a supportive clinical environment.

She also created Village Vets’ new graduate programme, VetVision, designed to guide and support newly qualified vets as they begin their careers in practice.

Becoming a partner at Village Vets Stillorgan was a natural next step. The clinic helped Aislinn rediscover her love for veterinary medicine, and she remains committed to growing the practice, supporting her team, and providing the highest standards of care for pets and their families in the Stillorgan community.

Our Stillorgan branch joined the Village Vets family in 2013, having previously served the community under a different name with its distinctive circular shape. The clinic is now owned and led by Aislinn Cullen, whose love for veterinary medicine and commitment to supporting her team help shape the caring, welcoming environment clients know and trust. 

Our state-of-the-art clinic has three consult rooms, a surgical theatre, a dedicated dental room and separate cat and dog wards. We even play relaxing classical music to our patients to help keep them calm and happy while they’re with us! Our facilities and services include:
