Salary: €33,000- 35,000 DOE with 1,000 Joining Bonus!

Village Vets Coolock is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly, supportive, and well-established team. Our Coolock branch joined as a proud member of the Village Vets family in 2016 and is situated inside the Maxi Zoo pet shop.

Village Vets Coolock is home to a talented, supportive, and well‑balanced team that takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care. Our veterinary team includes a Lead vet with strong medical skills, our nursing team is led by a Head Nurse with an ECC certificate, known for their detailed, compassionate approach and their commitment to mentoring others. Our Dedicated Hospital Manager handles admin and daily organisation, allowing the Clinical Leads to focus on clinical care, team support, and leadership.

We have two consulting rooms, separate dog and cat wards, a surgical theatre, diagnostic facilities including an x-ray room, and a dental room. We have a light and comfortable reception, and we’re passionate about fear-free techniques to help make every one of our patients’ visits to see us as comfortable as possible.

Conveniently located on the Malahide Road, the clinic is easily accessible by several bus routes and offers free on‑site parking within a busy retail park. With Lidl, Costa, a garage, and McDonald’s only steps away, plus a gym just five minutes from the clinic, it’s a practical and enjoyable place to work. We’re also supported by nearby Village Vets Beaumont and Raheny, ensuring strong collaboration across the local network.

About the Role

  • Support daily clinical operations, including patient preparation, inpatient care, and assisting vets during procedures
  • Deliver high‑quality nursing care, including administering treatments, monitoring anaesthetics, and maintaining accurate clinical records
  • Provide excellent client care through consult support, advice, and front‑of‑house assistance when required
  • Maintain clinic cleanliness, hygiene, and equipment to the highest standards
  • Work collaboratively with vets, nurses, and ACAs to ensure smooth patient flow and a positive client experience

About You

  • Qualified and registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
  • 1+years’ experience as a qualified RVN in small animal practice
  • Highly motivated, hard-working, and a team player
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Passionate about delivering gold-standard patient and client care
