Reports to: Regional Director

Salary: Range of 65-75k + Bonus and Additional Lead Vet Supplement

We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new, modern, bright, state-of-the-art veterinary clinic in Portmarnock. Located right beside the train station, our clinic offers ample parking, easy access, and sits within a vibrant, growing community. And if you love beach walks, this is the ideal spot for you!

You’ll be joining the Village Vets Team- an established and supportive veterinary group with a strong network of neighbouring clinics. You’ll have access to excellent mentorship, collaboration, and continuous professional development opportunities.

We’re looking for an Experienced Veterinary Surgeon (3+ years) to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have a strong desire to work in a small animal practice, have a big interest in medicine and surgery and be highly motivated, hard-working, and a team player.

Our new purpose-built facility includes:

· Spacious waiting rooms

· Three fully equipped consultation rooms

· Two modern surgical suites and a large prep room.

· A dedicated dental room

· An x-ray/imaging room

· Separate dog and cat wards for optimal patient comfort

What You’ll Do

  • Lead with purpose: Motivate and mentor your team, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and clinical excellence.
  • Deliver top-tier care: Set the standard in veterinary practice, ensuring compliance with VCI regulations and promoting preventative healthcare.
  • Drive performance: Own the clinic’s business plan, working with support teams to meet clinical, operational, and financial goals.
  • Champion engagement: Build a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team environment.
