Location: Village Vets Glanmire / Cobh

Salary: From €50,000 Per Annum DOE

We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly and supportive teams at Village Vets Glanmire and Cobh.

The Role

We are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with 3+ years’ experience who is confident and competent across all aspects of small animal practice.

You will provide medical, surgical, and client-facing care, working closely with our veterinary nurses and support staff. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills while contributing to a collaborative, supportive, and progressive team environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver veterinary care in line with the standards of Village Vets and the Veterinary Council of Ireland
• Provide excellent medical, surgical, and client-facing services
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and supportive team environment
• Assist in the efficient running of the clinic as directed by the Lead Vet or Regional Director

Knowledge and Skills:

• Registered Veterinary Surgeon with VCI
• Minimum 3 years’ clinical experience in small animal practice
• Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Strong clinical decision-making skills
