Salary: €50,000 – €65,000 per annum (DOE)
Village Vets is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Surgeon (3+ years’ clinical experience) to join our skilled, and collaborative community in one of our clinics across the Cork region.
Across our Cork clinics, our teams benefit from a rich depth and breadth of shared clinical experience, creating an environment where learning, support, and high standards of patient care are at the heart of what we do. You’ll have the opportunity to work within modern, well-resourced clinics, dental x-ray, spacious surgical theatres, in-house laboratories, and many with separate dog and cat wards- and contribute to a calm, welcoming atmosphere for both clients and their pets.
About the Role
As part of our team, you will:
- Deliver high-quality veterinary care in both consultations and surgery
- Confidently manage cases from initial workup through to treatment and follow-up
- Work closely with a supportive network of vets, nurses, and care staff across multiple clinics
- Contribute to a positive, compassionate client and patient experience
- Engage with a collaborative community that values teamwork, high clinical standards, and shared knowledge
About You
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have 3+ years’ experience in small animal practice
- Be confident in consultations, routine surgery, and case management
- Demonstrate strong clinical skills with a proactive and motivated approach
- Thrive in a team-focused environment and enjoy contributing to shared learning
- Be committed to delivering exceptional patient care and client service
- Have a genuine interest in continuous professional development
