Reports to: Lead Vet
Salary: €40,000 – €45,000 per annum (DOE)

We are seeking a Junior Veterinary Surgeon to join our amazing and supportive team. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career vet looking to develop their clinical skills within a progressive and encouraging environment. You will work alongside experienced vets and nurses who are committed to mentoring, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Across our North Dublin clinics, our teams benefit from a rich depth and breadth of shared clinical experience, creating an environment where learning, support, and high standards of patient care are at the heart of what we do. You’ll have the opportunity to work within modern, well-resourced clinics, dental x-ray, spacious surgical theatres, in-house laboratories, and many with separate dog and cat wards- and contribute to a calm, welcoming atmosphere for both clients and their pets.

About the Role

As part of our team, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality veterinary care
  • Manage cases from initial workup through to treatment and follow-up
  • Work closely with a supportive network of vets, nurses, and care staff across multiple clinics
  • Contribute to a positive, compassionate client and patient experience
  • Engage with a collaborative community that values teamwork, high clinical standards, and shared knowledge

About You

  • Newly graduated- to 2 years’ experience in small animal practice
  • Show eagerness to learn and steadily build confidence in consultations, routine procedures, and case workups with the support of senior clinicians.
  • Demonstrate a proactive, positive attitude toward developing clinical skills and taking on new challenges.
  • Work collaboratively within a team, seeking guidance when needed and contributing to a supportive, learning‑focused environment.
  • Provide compassionate patient care and a friendly, professional client experience, even while developing speed and efficiency.
  • Engage actively in ongoing learning and CPD, embracing mentoring, feedback, and structured development opportunities
