About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon (3+ years) with an interest in surgery to join our progressive, supportive team at our Animal Welfare Clinic. If you’re passionate about providing outstanding patient care, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to continue developing your skills, this is the role for you.

Animal Welfare Clinic has been a trusted name in pet care in the heart of Dublin for decades, known for its warm, community-focused approach. ‘We are a progressive, friendly, well-equipped clinic in a vibrant location near Ranelagh. We see a wide range of cases both medical and surgical and you would be working with a supportive and experienced group of vets, nurses and support staff including Certificate holders.
Our ideal candidate would be a caring and enthusiastic team player who enjoys the buzz of working in a busy environment’

About the Role

As part of our team, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality veterinary care in both consultations and surgery
  • Confidently manage cases from initial workup through to treatment and follow-up
  • Work closely with a supportive network of vets, nurses, and care staff across multiple clinics
  • Contribute to a positive, compassionate client and patient experience
  • ·Engage with a collaborative community that values teamwork, high clinical standards, and shared knowledge

About You

Our ideal candidate will:

  • Have 3+ years’ experience in small animal practice
  • Be confident in consultations, routine surgery, and case management
  • Demonstrate strong clinical skills with a proactive and motivated approach
  • Thrive in a team-focused environment and enjoy contributing to shared learning
  • Be committed to delivering exceptional patient care and client service
  • ·Have a genuine interest in continuous professional development
