We’re delighted to share that our Meath team is growing at Village Vets! As part of our continued commitment to delivering excellent patient care and supporting team development, we are currently seeking an experienced GP Vet with a special interest in internal medicine or ophthalmology.

About the Role
We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with 3+ years’ experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, progressive, well-equipped clinic within a collaborative network.

As part of a 24/7 hospital , clinic cases are not transferred, allowing for excellent case continuity and the opportunity to fully work up cases from diagnosis through treatment and follow-up.
You’ll be supported by:
  • A very strong Front of House team
  • Highly experienced nursing and animal care assistant team
  • Experienced Vets with Certificates
  • Dedicated separate night team, ensuring excellent patient care.
  • Monthly team meetings to encourage collaboration, communication, and clinical discussion
  • Quarterly Social Outings
This role would particularly suit a vet with a special interest in ophthalmology or dentistry, looking to further develop that area alongside a busy and varied general caseload.

About You:

  • 3+ years’ experience in small animal practice
  • Strong interest and confidence in medicine
  • Competent in surgical procedures
  • Motivated, hard-working, and a strong team player
  • Committed to delivering a high standard of patient and client care
The role includes:
  • 4-day working week
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays
  • 1 in 12 weekends
  • Busy, varied, and rewarding caseload
