About Village Vets Mahon Point

Our fully equipped laboratory, offering blood tests for medical screenings, general wellness checks and allergy detection, plus urine testing and access to specialist labs when needed, reflects a practice that’s always looked beyond the routine to catch problems early. 

For hospitalised pets, our stainless-steel shoreline kennels and dedicated cat ward, with specially designed “Cat Condo” kennels, keep the experience as calm and comfortable as possible, and our modern digital X-ray system means conditions are diagnosed quickly so treatment can start sooner.

Village Vets Mahon Point is on Mahon Link Road, within the Mahon Point Business & Retail Park, and isn’t within walking distance of a train station — the nearest is Cork Kent Station in the city centre. The bus is the easiest way to reach us: Bus Éireann route 212 runs directly between Mahon and Kent Station, and routes 202, 202A, 215, 215A and 219 also stop at Mahon Point. 

By car 

The clinic is located on Mahon Link Road, off the N40 South Ring Road — take the exit signposted for Mahon Point/Mahon and follow the road in. Get directions on Google Maps.
