In February 2025, six Village Vets clinics were visited by representatives from the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) as part of a formal inspection of UCD’s Clinical Extramural Studies (CEMS) programme.The RCVS panel commended several aspects of our practices:
- Clinic Standards: The report confirmed that our teaching clinics are comparable to the best available in private practice.
- SOPs & Isolation Protocols: The team noted strong, consistent safety procedures across all locations.
- Medicines Management: Village Vets was recognised for robust protocols and a clear structure of accountability.
- Student Experience: Every clinic was acknowledged for offering high-quality, genuine first-opinion practice to students.
