Job description: Head Veterinary Nurse

Location: Village Vets Celbridge

Contract type: 40 hours per week

Salary: €38,000 + per annum DOE

We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new, bright, and state-of-the-art veterinary clinic in Celbridge. Located right beside Tesco and Costa Coffee, our Celbridge clinic offers a great location, ample parking, and sits within a thriving, growing community.

You’ll be joining the Village Vets Team- an established and supportive veterinary group with a strong network of neighbouring clinics. You’ll have access to excellent mentorship, collaboration, continuous professional development opportunities, and a friendly, collaborative team culture

We’re looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to lead and inspire our nursing team as we open this exciting new clinic. Our ideal candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with excellent leadership and organisational skills, a genuine passion for patient care, and the drive to help shape and grow a new practice.

You’ll play a key role in establishing clinic protocols, mentoring junior team members, and creating a warm and welcoming environment for our clients and their pets

Our purpose-built hospital has been designed with both pets and our team in mind, featuring:

· Two spacious waiting rooms- including a separate cat-only area

· Three fully equipped consultation rooms

· Two modern surgical suites

· A dedicated dental room and x-ray/imaging room

· Separate dog and cat wards for optimal patient comfort
