Job description: Head Veterinary Nurse

Location: Village Vets Portmarnock

Contract type: 40 hours per week

Salary: €38,000 + per annum DOE

We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new, modern, bright, state-of-the-art veterinary clinic in Portmarnock. Located right beside the train station, our clinic offers ample parking, easy access, and sits within a vibrant, growing community. And if you love beach walks, this is the ideal spot for you!

You’ll be joining the Village Vets Team- an established and supportive veterinary group with a strong network of neighbouring clinics. You’ll have access to excellent mentorship, collaboration, and continuous professional development opportunities.

We’re looking for a Head Veterinary Nurse to lead and inspire our nursing team as we open this exciting new clinic. Our ideal candidate will be a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with strong leadership and organisational skills, a passion for patient care, and a drive to help build and maintain the highest standards within a new practice.

You’ll play a key role in establishing clinic protocols, mentoring junior team members, and creating a warm and welcoming environment for our clients and their pets

Our new purpose-built facility includes:

· Spacious waiting area

· Three fully equipped consultation rooms

· A modern surgical suite and large prep room

· Dedicated x-ray and dental room

· Separate dog and cat wards for optimal patient comfort
