About the Team

Our veterinary and nursing team at Village Vets Coolock is truly something special.

  • Veterinary Team:
    • 1 ECC-focused vet: excellent medical skills, growing surgical interest, keen to develop further.
    • 1 vet completing a surgery certificate: brings advanced skills and fosters a strong learning culture.
    • 1 junior vet: enthusiastic and eager to learn from the team.
  • Nursing Team:
    • Head Nurse with ECC certificate: highly engaged, detail-oriented mentor; teaches with care, empathy, and patience.
  • Support Team:
    • 2 Animal Care Assistants and 2 Front of House members: provide essential day-to-day support, ensuring smooth clinic operations.
  • Management:
    • Dedicated Hospital Manager handles admin and daily organisation, allowing the Lead Vet to focus on clinical care, team support, and leadership.

Location & Accessibility
Our practice is located on the Malahide Road, with excellent public transport links—multiple bus routes stop nearby. We’re based in a retail park with free on-site parking, making commuting straightforward.

The complex includes Lidl, Costa, a garage, and McDonald’s, all just a 30-second walk away, and there’s a gym only 5 minutes from the clinic, ideal for before or after work.

We’re also close to Village Vets Beaumont and Raheny, providing strong local support whenever needed.

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver top-tier care: Set the standard in veterinary practice, ensuring compliance with VCI regulations and promoting preventative healthcare.
  • Drive performance: Own the clinic’s business plan, working with support teams to meet clinical, operational, and financial goals.

What We’re Looking For

  • MVB, DVM, or equivalent, with 3+ years’ experience
  • Strong communicator and decision-maker
  • Confident leader with a passion for people and pets
  • Experience managing a team or P&L is a plus
