Location: Village Vets Dunshaughlin, Meath

Contract type: 15 hours per week Part time Fixed term.

Salary: €14.15 oer hour

Shifts: Saturday and Sundays and Bank holiday Mondays 9-5pm

Are you obsessed with cats, passionate about animal care, and looking for a rewarding part-time role in a friendly veterinary environment? We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and enthusiastic Cattery Assistant to join the amazing team at Village Vets Dunshaughlin!

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who loves working with animals and wants to be part of a compassionate clinic where every patient gets exceptional care — and plenty of cuddles too.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Caring for our feline guests with kindness, patience, and attention
• Feeding, grooming, cleaning, and maintaining comfortable cattery spaces
• Monitoring cats for health or behavioural changes and reporting concerns
• Supporting the veterinary and nursing team with day-to-day clinic duties
• Helping create a calm, clean, and welcoming environment for pets and owners alike

What We’re Looking For

• A genuine love of cats and animal welfare
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
• Comfortable handling cats of all personalities
• Previous animal care experience is a bonus, but not essential
• Flexibility to work weekends and holiday periods when required
