Soft Tissue Surgery

The Soft Tissue Surgery Service is led by a skilled team of veterinary surgeons, all of whom hold postgraduate certificates in small animal surgery. The team includes Danielle Fogarty MVB MRCVS BAgrSc MSc PgC (SAS), Dawn Norton MVB PgC (SAS), Maria Papathanasiou DVM MSc (SAS) PgC (SAS), Marte Kristiansen DVM GPCert (SAS), and Aoibheann Canavan MVB. Together, they routinely perform a wide range of soft tissue procedures to treat both congenital and acquired conditions, including oncological cases. The team is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based surgical care tailored to each individual patient.

Our Ashbourne branch joined the Village Vets family in 2008 and we moved to our shiny new site in 2024, which is well equipped with modern facilities including an in-house laboratory, diagnostic equipment such as x-rays, dental x-rays and ultrasonography, four consult rooms and two surgical theatres.
