Professional & Business Services Family Business & Family Business CSR Award

Village Vets has won two coveted  Energia Family Business Awards at a ceremony that took place on Friday, 24th May 2019, in the Round Room of the Mansion House, Dublin. The ceremony, which is thefirst of its kind in Ireland, celebrated the efforts of family run businesses in shaping the Irish business
landscape. The awards recognised businesses across the island of all shapes and sizes, with over 200 entries received.

Village Vets took home the Professional & Business Services Family Business Award, as well as the Family Business CSR Award. With 11 clinics across Dublin and Meath, Village Vets is always thinking of new ways to make pet care accessible. In addition to taking every opportunity to viably grow the business, Village Vets is committed to helping the wider community through its work with homeless pet owners through ‘Village Vets Street Team’ and also the recent partnership with DSPCA. This partnership involves Village Vets neutering one thousand pets per year for the charity while also providing a guaranteed source of income for the DSPCA. This partnership allows the DSPCA to concentrate 100% of their efforts on the rescue of sick, injured and cruelly treated animals, education and other outreach work.

Commenting on Village Vet’s success, Charles Cosgrave, MD of Village Vets said: "We are delighted that Village Vets is being recognised for the family values that are at the core of our business ethos. We are committed to continuing to provide excellence in veterinary care at each of our clinics, while also implementing meaningful CSR strategies that support the communities we work in."
